A garden run gone dark is usually a failed transformer or water in one join, not a system at the end of its life, and a swap costs a fraction of a new install. A floodlight triggering at three in the morning is nearly always sensor position, and moving it takes twenty minutes. We quote the repair against the replacement. Where the old run is 240V fittings sitting in wet ground, we say so plainly, because that one is not optional.
Every 3 phase switchboard upgrade is carried out under Contractor Licence 389893C. The certificate of compliance is issued before we leave and lodged with Building Commission NSW. Your insurer and NSW Fair Trading both require it. New homeowners and property investors can request a safety inspection at the same visit. Complimentary safety inspections are available for existing customers.
Yes. We will install fittings you have bought, as long as they are rated for where they are going. If something is not, you hear it before it goes in, because a fitting rated for a sheltered wall will not last a season in a garden bed.
Only where cable crosses open ground. We lift the turf rather than trench it wherever that works, and beds and mulch go back as we found them.
For garden and path lighting, yes. 12V through a transformer is safer around kids and wet ground and easier to extend later. Floodlights and house-mounted fittings run at 240V.
