What we install
Whether you want eyes on the front door or every entry to a building, Impulse Electrical Enterprise handles CCTV installation in Sydney. We design and install camera systems to suit the property, from a few cameras on a house to systems for strata buildings and businesses.
Cameras for the front door, driveway, side gates and backyard, recording to a recorder (NVR) inside your home. Our home security camera installation includes setting up the app, so you can check in from your phone on compatible systems.
Cameras for building entries, car parks, mail areas and common property. We work with the strata or building manager, as cameras on common property need the owners corporation's approval.
Cameras for shops, offices and warehouses, covering entries, registers and stock areas, so you can review footage when you need it.
Old or blurry cameras and recorders replaced with a modern system, reusing the existing cabling where it's suitable.
How it works
Cameras send video to a recorder (NVR) with a hard drive. You can watch live or recorded footage on a monitor, or on your phone through the manufacturer's app. Phone viewing works on compatible systems and needs a suitable internet connection.
We can run concealed data cable from the recorder to your internet router, under the ACMA cabling registration held within our team. Before we leave, we set up the app on your phone and show you how to find a recording.
We work with brands including Hikvision, Dahua, HiLook, Uniview, Swann and Reolink.

Integrated security
CCTV can be planned together with a video intercom at the front door and fob or keypad entry, so one installer looks after the whole entry. In Castle Hill, we installed four cameras, a recorder and a Hikvision video intercom doorbell together. Planning them together suits homes, strata buildings and businesses.
Prices
CCTV installation starts from $499 + GST for a limited scope. This isn't a complete system price: the cameras and recorder are quoted to suit your property and how many cameras you need.

A few cameras on a single-storey home cost far less than a system covering a whole apartment building. Your security camera installation price depends on how many cameras you need, the cameras and recorder you choose, cable runs and access (single or double storey, roof space), whether you supply your own equipment, and whether it's a home, strata building or business.

Good to know
We'll aim your cameras at your own property and entries, not into your neighbours' homes or yards.
If you're a business filming staff, NSW workplace surveillance rules apply, including giving staff notice and putting up signs. Recording private conversations with audio is also restricted in NSW. In strata buildings, cameras on common property need the owners corporation's approval. If you're unsure what applies to you, check before we install.
